Connecting law with practice
Aviation law connects my hobby – aviation with mine by profession – lawyer. It's a connection that makes sense. Every day I see more and more how advantageous it is, especially in this area, that I understand aviation from the experience of a pilot. It's not enough to just know the laws. It's necessary to understand:
- the functioning of air traffic,
- technical requirements,
- safety standards,
- regulatory logic of authorities.
It is this combination that determines whether a legal solution is truly functional.
The most common mistakes in practice
Similar problems recur across individual topics:
- underestimation of regulatory requirements,
- delayed resolution of legal issues,
- inconsistency between the technical and legal settings of the project,
- insufficient documentation,
- incorrect communication with authorities.
These errors often lead to:
- extension of projects,
- additional costs,
- or in extreme cases, the impossibility of implementing the project.

If the entire series had one common motto, it would be ours. CONSULT BEFORE FIGHT.
In most cases (and not only in aviation), the following applies: A properly set structure at the beginning is significantly cheaper than solving problems retrospectively.
This applies to aircraft acquisition, setting up operations, development around airports, and negotiations with authorities.
