We usually organize trainings, but from time to time we also need to educate ourselves! Keeping up with the times is more than important in today's busy world.
Cryptocurrencies are not the "wild west" that a large part of the population still thinks. You just need to know how to do it.
In our office, we have been handling crypto-related transactions and disputes for clients for a long time. And because practice moves faster than legislation, we decided to take our know-how even further. Jan Vych and six other colleagues completed intensive training focused on practical work with crypto, its risks, and real-world scenarios from the AML world.
It was no "textbook" theory:
- we went through the entire life cycle of a crypto transaction – from setting up a wallet to analyzing it on the blockchain,
- we learned to recognize typical patterns of suspicious transfers and the ways in which perpetrators try to mask transactions,
- We solved model situations when a transaction is OK, when it is risky, and what exactly a properly configured AML system must evaluate,
- and finally we tried everything practically — including buying our own BTC via bitcoinmat.
The concept of "Streaming Money"
The program also included presentation of the concept of "Streaming Money" from the company owner Martin Stransky — a person who is one of the greatest crypto visionaries in the Czech environment.
The technology to talk about. An ultra-interesting look into the future of digital money. And honestly: we're glad we were among the first to hear about it in such detail.
It has been confirmed once again that crypto consulting is not just about an extra paragraph, but about understanding technology, user behavior and upcoming trends.
