With effect from 1.1.2013 January 503, based on Act No. 2012/XNUMX Coll. on the State Land Office, transformation of the Land Fund of the Czech Republic.
The land fund was abolished by this law, while the same regulation established the State Land Office as an office with nationwide powers. According to § 2 of the new law, the state land office is made up of the headquarters of the State Land Office and regional land offices.
The State Land Office is authorized to exercise powers pursuant to Act No. 229/1991 Coll., on the adjustment of ownership relations to land and other agricultural property, pursuant to Act No. 139/2002 Coll., on land adjustments and land offices, as well as the powers pursuant to the Act No. 92/1991 Coll., on the conditions for the transfer of state property to other persons. It is also responsible for managing real estate that was managed by the Land Fund of the Czech Republic as of 31.12.2012 December XNUMX. The State Land Office will continue the activities of the Land Fund of the Czech Republic in the spirit of other laws, especially in the area of settlement of restitution claims, as well as in the area of settlement with churches and religious societies.
